Volvo EX30, in Thailandia si valutano i rimborsi ai clienti

Autorità al lavoro sui reclami dopo gli incendi ed il richiamo dei moduli batteria

Nel dossier aperto in Thailandia sui presunti rischi di incendio legati alla Volvo Cars EX30, l’attenzione delle autorità si sta spostando anche sul fronte dei rimborsi. L’organismo thailandese per la tutela dei consumatori, secondo quanto riferito da "Reuters", starebbe valutando se deferire i reclami ad un comitato interno e ha chiesto restituzioni con interessi per 45 segnalazioni.

Il quadro arriva dopo due incendi attribuiti alle batterie del Suv elettrico del marchio svedese, circostanza che ha sollevato il rischio di possibili azioni legali nel Paese. In un commento inviato a MT Newswires, Volvo Cars ha sostenuto che il numero di episodi denunciati resta inferiore allo 0,1% delle vetture interessate dal richiamo.

La casa automobilistica ha inoltre fatto sapere di aver chiesto ai proprietari di mantenere la ricarica delle auto entro il 70% fino alla sostituzione dei moduli batteria.
