Collisione navale al largo di Guangzhou

Lo riferisce l’Autorità Marittima e Portuale di Singapore


Nei giorni scorsi a Singapore si è verificata una collisione tra la nave portacontainer Wan Hai A17, battente bandiera di Singapore, e la nave cinese Hai Li 5 nelle acque al largo di Guangzhou.

Secondo quanto comunicato da Wan Hai Lines, la Wan Hai A17 è rimasta stabile e nessuno dei 23 membri dell’equipaggio ha riportato ferite. Non si registrano sversamenti o forme di inquinamento marino.

Le autorità cinesi hanno confermato che la Hai Li 5 è affondata e che sono in corso le operazioni di ricerca e soccorso. Due dei 15 membri dell’equipaggio risultano ancora dispersi.

La Wan Hai A17 è attualmente trattenuta in porto per collaborare con le autorità cinesi nelle indagini sull’incidente.
